In order to be eligible for WIC, the gross countable income of the economic unit, of which the applicant/participant is a member, must be less than or equal to the Ohio WIC program income guidelines for economic unit size provided in the following chart. Must meet income guidelines listed below, or receive Medicaid, Food Stamps, Ohio Works First (TANF), Refugee Resettlement, or Disability Assistance from Job and Family Services.Infants and Children under 5 years of age.Pregnant, Breastfeeding, and Postpartum Women.Referrals to other community resources.Personalized food packages including foods such as milk, cheese, yogurt, eggs, cereal, juice, whole grain foods, beans or peanut butter, fruits and vegetables and infant formula.ěreastfeeding Support, services and education.WIC's most important goal is prevention of nutrition-related health problems. Women, Infants and Children (WIC) is a nutrition education program that provides highly nutritious supplemental foods which promotes good health for pregnant and postpartum women, breastfeeding mothers, infants and children up to age five.
